Des chercheurs de L’Hôpital d’Ottawa obtiennent 15 subventions de recherche d’une valeur de plus de 8,4 M$ des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada

Des chercheurs de L’Hôpital d’Ottawa sont à la barre de 15 nouveaux projets qui ont reçu un financement de plus de 8.4 millions de dollars des Instituts de recherche en santé du Canada (IRSC).

Les projets visent des avancées en science et en santé dans des domaines comme la grossesse, la santé mentale, les maladies neuromusculaires, le cancer, les thromboses veineuses, les maladies infectieuses, l’application des connaissances, les examens diagnostiques, les maladies pulmonaires et l’AVC.

« Les projets de recherche de ce type nous permettent d’offrir d’excellents soins aux patients tout en réalisant des percées scientifiques qui améliorent la santé à l’échelle mondiale », affirme le Dr Duncan Stewart, vice-président exécutif de la Recherche à L’Hôpital d’Ottawa et professeur à l’Université d’Ottawa. « Je suis fier que L’Hôpital d’Ottawa figure continuellement parmi les hôpitaux qui obtiennent les subventions les plus généreuses des IRSC, décrochant la quatrième place en 2022-2023. »
